If there’s one aspect of my relationship with God that I never want to lose, it’s passion. You can’t fake it. You can’t make it appear out of thin air. Passion comes from the heart. And when your heart is engaged in your divine calling, you can’t hide the passion that comes as a result. You do what you love from a place of passion. That’s why it’s essential to let passion fuel your faith. And if you’re feeling dry and passionless, ask the Lord to renew your heart today. He is ready to fill you with passion for the calling He has on your life!
Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert” (Isaiah 43:18–19, ESV).
The truth is many don’t ever cross the bridge to their future because they’re not willing to burn the bridge to their past. That doesn’t mean there’s nothing behind us God can’t use to help us. But it does mean we can’t cling to what is old, because if we do our hands won’t be able to seize what’s new. So no matter what “it” is for you, make a decision today that you will move past your past into the future Jesus has for you! ~Pastor Nathan~
